Election Day Exit Polling

Objectives:

To deliver independent exit results to the client including tactical data to help inform resourcing reallocation.

Challenges:

Interviews had to be ‘always on’ as these were all day projects with the objective to collect very quick intercept interaction with private on-screen self-complete questionnaires

Solutions:

AFS ‘Smart Askers’ placed interviewers at the desired polling locations and then provided live updates while maintaining the appropriate privacy levels

 

Shopping Strip Traffic Flows

Objectives:

To monitor road and street traffic, including parking and parking attempts in various Council area shopping locations

Challenges:

Interviewers had to follow strict selection criteria to present a representative result across multiple travel types

Solutions:

AFS ‘Smart Askers’ incorporated touch data collection capability via CAPI

 

Coke Shopper Tracing

Objectives:

To provide shopper-tracing data to help understand the effectiveness of aisle end and in-store promotions on final purchase

Challenges:

The team followed multiple shoppers as they entered stores, passed promotions, and tracked their movement to purchase and intercept

Solutions:

AFS ‘Smart Askers’ employed three operatives per store to trace and intercept, and then integrated the data of 300 interviews and 2500+ observations
